Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

  1. Could the 144,000 in fact fulfill the prophetic act of the twelve apostles, and later the seventy others “for a testimony against them” as Mark records in Mark 6:7-13? It seems to me that there are certain strange statements that were never actually fulfilled at the time. Matthew parallels what Mark foreshadowed in Matthew 10:5-23. Notice how it says “You will be hated by ALL men for my name’s sake”. Is this talking about a future, prophetic time in which ALL the believers will be hated? Hmm. It seems to me that perhaps the mission of the 144,00 will be to offset the lies of the Beast during those times, as well as bring accountability and clear truth to those who are deceived . They will definitely be an important group in the future.
